Minimalist Baby Room Reveal!
As most of you know, unless you're new here and in that case Say Girl! You know that we sold our farmhouse, renovated an 800 sqft house and are now living the tiny house life.... for the SECOND time in our lives.... oh AND we're expecting a baby any day now. So here is the reveal of our nursery in the tiny house! We had to get creative especially since we aren't finding out the gender of our baby!

BEFORE AND AFTER!
Lets start with a couple before and after photos, those are my fav!
This was a "sun room" that had old hand crank windows with zero insulation. We don't know the exact date this little tiny house was built but based on the looks of it, we are guessing it was built in the 60's. As you can see from the before photos, this room was in bad shape. We took it down to the studs and completely started from scratch! New subfloors, sheetrock, duct work, plumbing, electrical, windows, flooring, texturing and of course painting. Kenny and I did about half of it ourselves and subbed out the other half.
THE DESIGN!
Since we aren't finding out the gender of our little one, I had to keep it neutral. I'm not the type of girl who likes yellows and blues, so I went with something a little different. Emerald Green, White and Gold with touches of neutrals. It feels very minimalistic at the moment, and once we know the gender of our baby, I will be adding in touches of decor to be more gender specific.
THE DETAILS!
I think my favorite part of all of this was adding in really small details to the room that would give it a bit more character. I was looking for curtain tie backs, but I envisioned some that had little gold bee's on them. After looking high and low and not finding what I was looking for, I made these and I am completely obsessed! SLIDE TO SEE MORE!
Not to mention this anthropologie rabbit hook to hold our diaper bag, and all the small trinkets on the shelves that I styled.
